The grapes were fantastic, now resting in their French Oak homes. 2015 is going to be another amazing vintage!!!

Walking through the vineyard today checking sugars…. Many growers have started picking Pinot Noir and Chardonnay… it is VERY early!!!
Remember we are growing Cabernet Sauvignon in the Russian River Valley where it is cooler. We have a ways to go….
We want to get to 24.5 Brix (pronounced bricks….loosely translated, a percentage of sugar present in the fruit). We are at 19 brix. Getting close.
Getting excited about our Wine Club trip to Italy in May 2016…getting closer. 12 of us will fly into Florence and off to Panzano.
Private wine tasting, including local and our own Tara Bella wines. Did I mention the cooking class?

After Bottling Day came River Day…so after finishing the bottling of 880 cases at the end of last week, 9 of the intrepid crew chose to face the raging Russian River.
